The Crabwood / Andiroba (Carapa Guianensis) is a tree species from the Meliaceae family (the Mahony family). The tree grows in the Amazon, Central America and the Carribean.

The Andiroba oil is extracted from the seeds, which has medicinal properties. The Andiroba oil is also used as a repellent against insects and for strengthening and nourishing the hair.

The Andiroba oil is not only anti-inflammatory (ideal against insect bites, acne, irritations ...), but also has a soothing, nourishing and invigorating effect. Some even use it to reduce their cellulite and combat fat deposits.
